Common Bugs with solutions provided
This thread serve as a guide to handle bugs that are commonly encountered by maplers. If the bug you are encountering is not surfaced in this thread, please make a topic under ''Report Bugs'' so the relevant parties can search for solutions. As more bugs are being reported with solutions, this thread will be constantly updated! Hope this helps!

1. White Screen after clicking MapleToday.exe
Solution:

1. Right click onto MapleToday.exe and click properties
2. Click Comptabitility tab
3. Tick under ''Run this program in compatibility mode for"
4. Scroll down and choose " Windows 7 "
5. Click apply
6. Run as administrator for MapleToday.exe
Solutions to Common bug Maplet10
2. Can't connect to the game server"
Solution:

When an error pops out after selecting character "Can't connect to the game server it means that your network is blocked, commonly encountered by Israelis using HOTnet
1. Disable any VPN
2. Reset connection to default.
3. Restart PC
4. Run MapleToday.exe as admin

3. Error code:2005530520
Solution:

1.Restart PC
4.Already Logged In' message"
Solution:

1. Check if server is undergoing a server maintenance through our home website / Discord
2. If the server is online, wait for 5 minutes counting from the time where you disconnected.
3. If the same error pops out after 5 minutes, please report it to our GM either through discord / make a thread under "Report Bug" with the following information:
i. Name of character that you were online with
ii. At the time of disconnection, what were you doing?
5. Error Code 11001,"
Solution:

This is a common error when user is operating under windows 8.
1. Right click onto MapleToday.exe and click properties
2. Click Comptabitility tab
3. Tick under ''Run this program in compatibility mode for"
4. Scroll down and choose " Windows 7 "
5. Click apply
6. Run as administrator for MapleToday.exe
or
1. Change your client's resolution
6.Error Code: -2147024809 (The parameter is incorrect) "
Solutions:

If you are using windows 8/10, this issue is encountered very commonly.
1. Right click onto MapleToday.exe and click properties
2. Click Comptabitility tab
3. Tick under ''Run this program in compatibility mode for"
4. Scroll down and choose " Windows 7/98 "
5. Tick "Disable fullscreen optimizations
6. Tick "Run this program as an administrator
7. Click "Apply"
8. Click "OK"
7.Missing wzms.dll "
Solutions:

1. Ensure the MapleToday.exe is in the same directory as all the setup files.
This happens when most maplers drag the MapleToday.exe to their desktop for ease of access.
Here is the right way of doing it

2. Click "Send to"
3. Click "Desktop (create shortcut)"
8.Missing ijl15.dll "
Solutions:

1. Ensure the MapleToday.exe is in the same directory as all the setup files.
This happens when most maplers drag the MapleToday.exe to their desktop for ease of access.

9.Error: The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable "
Solutions:

1.Anti-virus (oftenly Windows Defender) is blocking the client.
2. Disable windows defender / add the directory where MapleToday.exe is contained as an exception. These are the steps
i. On the bottom right of your desktop, click the upwards arrow->right click on windows defender->View Security dashboard

10.Error code: 2005530585(Unknown error 0x88760827) "
Solutions:

This happen for user using an old monitor or TV as their display screen.
Solution 1: If a TV is connected to your laptop/CPU, change the refresh rate to 30Hz
Solution 2: If your PC is connected to both monitor and TV, unplug the TV -> launch MapleToday.exe THEN plugin the TV.
Solution 3: Right click MapleToday.exe -> Click properties -> Click compatibility tab -> Change to windows XP/7/98 -> Tick "Run in 640 x 480 resolution"
Solution 4: Ensure both graphics drivers and dirext X is updated to the latest version.
Solution 5: Use CCleaner to fix and clean your registry.
